The Second Month

Time flies. Maggie's second month came and went without us noticing! It probably hasn't helped that both Andrew and I are walking around dazed and confused and wishing, just wishing, for one more hour of sleep! But alas, all is well and we might just be getting the hang of this parenting thing!

At two months Maggie...
...weighs about 11 pounds (18th percentile) [How did that happen?!]
...is 22" inches long (40th percentile).
...had to say a sad farewell to those adorably tiny preemie onesies because she is now wearing newborn and 0-3 month sizes!
...eats every two to four hours. Even at night.
...has speckles of brown in those slate gray eyes.
...has eyelashes and eyebrows!
...has chubby chipmunk cheeks!
...makes many hilarious faces.
...has discovered her tongue but isn't quite sure what to do with it. Out? In? Where does it belong?
...is still very chill.
...definitely has found her voice and it is oh so cute [though she hasn't figured out how loud that voice can go].
...loves taking evening walks in the stroller.
...likes to caress her best friend, Mr. Owl Pillow.
...is dealing with acid reflux like a champ.
...can't quite figure out if she likes the grape flavor of her gas drops.
...loves stylin' it up with many, many, many polka dots.
...loved spending many days with Grandpa Ed and Grandma Judy!
...is still very loud and proud about her male-patterned-baldness.

Up next? Month three.

xoxo
