If this is how fast life with kids goes, then I should totally be middle-aged by now.
Wait.
I'll be 30 in a few months.
Umm.....
Shoot.
Crap.
Ughhhhhh.
Is 30 considered middle-aged?
At least mom-jeans are back in style.
The day I say a sad farewell to my twenties, this little sack of grunting cuteness will say hello to five months. Ack! Next thing I know she will be the one turning 30 and I will be, well, let's not go there.
For now, let's review her third month of life!
At three months Maggie...
...weighs over 11 pounds.
...is 23" long.
...is officially moving out of 0-3 month clothes and into 3-6 months sizes.
...eats every 2-4 hours.
...goes to bed around 7pm and will sleep for about six hours, only to wake up every few hours in the morning.
...has discovered that the louder she shrieks the faster the adults respond!
...has also discovered her chatting voice! So many gurgles! She will hold intentional conversations and grin the entire time!
...smiles, smiles, smiles.
...hasn't stopped kicking her feet since day one.
...sucks her thumb, fingers, and fist (although she still has trouble keeping them where she wants them to be).
...has a new best friend: Sock Monkey.
...can hold her head up like a champ however wobbly it may be!
...loves to play "Bounce Bounce" while standing up and putting weight on her legs!
...has moved on from male-patterned-baldness to the much more sporty combover.
Up next? Month four.
xoxo
