The Fifth Month

Both our babies have been pretty chill, but Pepper is especially so. Perhaps this is typical of the second child-- constantly being entertained by the older one? All she has to do is literally sit back, relax, and enjoy the show that goes on around her. What a life!

This month in a nutshell? Rolling, eating solids, and really beginning to learn how to play with toys!

At five months Pepper...
...is wearing 3-6 month clothes and definitely went through a growth spurt last week.
...sleeps from 7pm to 6am with three feeds.
...takes four hour-long naps each day
...rolls the whole way around.
...is starting to successfully grab objects.
...can now bring things to her mouth and hold them there
...enjoys standing and bouncing in her exersaucer.
...is no longer swaddled when she sleeps
...has begun eating solids (avocado and banana) though still spits most of it out.
...enjoys going to toddler library "school" just as much as Maggie does. Pepper is very alert and pays attention the entire time!
